I'm a software developer and photographer currently based in San Diego. For the last four years I was a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, having recently graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. For the last three years I have worked for MicroBio Engineering, studying and developing algae strains for wastewater applications. In my own research, I focus on the application of small scale generative AI models. Addtionally, I am expanding into the world of cybersecurity.

Statement on Generative AI: While useful in certain scenarios, I belive that generative AI is fundamentally incompatible with the best practices for effective learning, and as the main purpose of this site is to document and explore my own relationship with learning, no content on this site, whether it be software, writing, or other art forms, was produced using generative AI.
